Stewart Harper

Treasurer

Stewart Harper is a Chartered Company Secretary, who works in the education, health and housing sectors.  He supports these organisations with governance, compliance and regulatory matters, but also in the investigation of complex grievances and disciplinary matters.  He has project managed complicated mergers of multi academy trusts, and supported academy trusts through difficult change management programmes.

Stewart stood for the Conservative Party, in Leeds North West, at the 2019 General Election and is motivated by a desire to transform life chances through education.

Outside of work, Stewart tries to enjoy sport (especially football and cricket) though his chosen teams don’t always recognise his desire to relax and enjoy.
