Paul Athans

Paul has spent most of his working life in the British Army. He left the Regular Army in 2024 having worked in Strategic Communications and Engagement. He continues to serve as a Major in the Army Reserve.

A former Chair of the Liverpool Conservative Federation, he stood for the Conservative Party in Hazel Grove at the 2024 General Election. He was the Director of Special Projects for Tom Tugendhat’s Leadership Campaign.

Passionate about defence and veterans’ affairs, Paul is a trustee of a veteran’s charity (Project RECCE) and provides defence advice to the Conservative Party.
