Victoria Roberts
Deputy Chairman
Victoria was elected as Deputy Chair in 2009, having first joined the TRG Board in 2007. She has particular responsibility for TRG Publications and edited the most recent edition of Reformer.
Victoria was called to the Bar in 2009. Prior to her legal training, she spent three and a half years as a political researcher for John Bercow MP, until September 2007. Much of her work concerned asylum policy, equality and prison reform. In addition, she was John Bercow's Campaign Assistant in the 2005 General Election. She has published works with the Foreign Policy Centre, the TRG, Reformer and House Magazine.
Victoria has particular interests in sexual and maternal health policy, in relation to which she is a Trustee of the Family Planning Association (‘fpa'- the UK's leading sexual health charity) and foreign policy, particularly with regard to human rights. She is a member of the Board of the Burma Campaign UK and an Assistant to the Burma Justice Committee of the Bar.
Victoria has an MA in International Relations from the University of Essex and a BA in History from University College London.
