Timothy Barnes
TRG Board Member
Timothy has been a Board Member of TRG since 2002 and was its Chairman from January 2006 until April 2009. During his Chairmanship, he extended the role of the TRG outside Westminster through new groups across the country, establishing TRG Wales and re-establishing TRG Scotland.
In 2001, and again in 2005, he was a senior member of the campaign team behind Ken Clarke MP's bid for the Conservative Party leadership. He is active within his local constituency association, where he is Treasurer and a ward Chairman.
Tim is an entrepreneur and company director who runs his own specialist advisory business, working with technology-based companies arising from university research.
