Timothy Crockford
National Chairman
Originally from Kent, Tim read both an undergraduate degree and a postgraduate MA in History at University College London, where he was President of UCL Conservative Society. He studied law at BPP Law School and trained as a solicitor at Wragge & Co LLP (spending six months working as a Legal Advisor at Mercedes-Benz UK Limited). He is currently a commercial litigation solicitor and lives with his girlfriend Melanie in Royal Leamington Spa.
From 2002-6, Tim was Political Advisor to Hugh Robertson MP, the Shadow Sports and Olympics Minster. He has served in a number of capacities in the Party recently as Deputy Chairman of the Edgbaston Conservative Party and Chairman of the Birmingham Conservative City Professionals (2008-9). He has managed a number of election campaigns in Kent and London and has stood as a local government candidate in his home town of Maidstone. Tim currently co-ordinates the TRG General Election Action Team supporting Parliamentary candidates in marginal seats.
Tim joined the Tory Reform Group National Board in 2004 holding office as Student TRG Board Member, TRG Board Member for Events and Chairman of the Events Committee. From 2007-9 Tim was National Deputy Chairman before being elected in April 2009 as National Chairman.
