Welcome to the Tory Reform Group Wales section of our website.
It should be said as we enter the year 2007 that there should be no no-go areas for the TRG in the UK. 2006 saw TRG Scotland being set up. 2007 will be the year TRG Wales kicks off.
We want to try and bring the types of activity that the TRG engage in on a national basis, such as social events, policy discussions, speaking engagements etc to Wales. Principally, we want to:
• Provide a forum for members in Wales to exchange ideas and contribute to the formulation of polices within the Welsh Conservative Party;
• Provide a network for our members to socialise;
• Provide a structure so the views of our members in Wales are heard at a national level within the TRG;
• Provide an incentive for Conservative Party members in Wales who believe in the ideas of 'One Nation Conservatism', social justice, political progress and prosperity for all to join the TRG.
At the end of the day, you shouldn't have to live in London or South East England to benefit from TRG membership and take part in TRG activities. We want all our members to be involved and reap the benefits of belonging to a successful pressure group within the Conservative Party.
